Well folks, it’s time for a break.
I will be taking a break from tumblr–for how long, I can’t say, but it will be a while–because I have had it with the negativity and self-hate I see so often on my dashboard. True, maybe it is simply the blogs I happen to follow, but much of the time these such posts have thousands upon thousands of notes, so there’s no way they haven’t spread across a great portion of the website. I don’t like feeling insecure when I read things people post being critical of themselves or others. It’s tiring and it’s not fun. Tumblr feels more like a burden than it ever has before, so I think it’s time for me to take a break indefinitely.
